New year, new resolutions… and, of course, a new Cannes category.
After the Branded Content category in 2012 and the Mobile Lions in 2011, now it comes the Innovation Lions “to honor the technology and innovation which lead to the creative idea being possible”.
There will be no categories inside the Innovation Lions as in the Titanium Lion and it seems not to present very clear parameters. After all, innovative campaigns are already being honored at Cannes.
We will have the answers thanks to a new 10-person international jury with professionals from inside and outside the advertising market who stated to pay tribute to “pioneering forms of technology, (…) which have been developed to help facilitate creative excellence in commercials”.
Now we just have to wait until june 18th…
